This is a blended standard first aid with BLS CPR course where 25% is done online and the other 75% is done in the classroom. You will receive an email from the Red Cross with a link to the online modules within 2 business days of registration. Please contact us if you have not received the email.
We have combined BLS and a blended standard first aid course. This involves a 3-step process.
- Complete the theory of standard first aid online. You will receive an email from the Canadian Red Cross with a link to the online modules within the next 2 business days. These take approx. 4-5 hours to complete and must be completed before your in-class sessions. Please provide proof of completion to your instructor.
- BLS in class
BLS cannot be blended and all modules are done in class. This is approx. a 4 hour class.
- Blended Standard First Aid – Classroom – 9 am – 5 pm
The Blended course consists of ½ online and ½ in person thereby reducing your amount of exposure in a classroom. The online portion must be completed prior to the in person or you will forfeit your registration.
Comprehensive First Aid & CPR techniques for those who want more in-depth knowledge to respond to emergencies. The course covers a variety of topics from basic, such as cardiovascular and breathing emergencies, to in-depth topics, such as sudden medical conditions and injuries to the head and spine.

CPR A, B, C with AED
This course is designed to provide various levels of CPR training based on the participant’s background, needs and interest. A presentation on how to use an Automated External Defibrillator, AED, is an optional addition to CPR training.

Level A
Covers skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking for people aged 8 and over, intended for workplace and general public.
- Adult CPR – one rescuer
- Adult choking
- Barrier device/pocket masks
- Optional AED certification may be included where legislation permits.
Level B
Covers skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking in Adults, Children and Babies; intended for families, parents, general public, and child care professionals.
- Adult/Child/Baby CPR – one rescuer
- Adult/Child Baby choking
- Barrier device/ pocket masks
- Optional AED certification may be included where legislation permits.
Level C
Covers all CPR Level B skills and includes two-rescuer Adult/Child CPR; intended for professional rescuers (i.e. Police, Firefighters, First Responders, Workplace First Aid Teams, and Lifegurards).
- Adult/Child/Baby CPR – one rescuer
- Adult/Child/Baby choking
- Barrier device/ pocket masks
- Optional AED certification may be included where legislation permits.
- Adult/Child – 2-person rescuer CPR

7th floor- Suite 706 – Free parking is available in front of the building. Enter through the main doors and take the elevator up to the 7th floor.
The building is the tall green building, located on the west side of Hurontario, just north of HW403.
The parking entrance is off of Tucana Court, behind the building.
