FALL PROTECTION AWARENESS ONLINE COURSE OVERVIEW

This online Fall Protection Awareness course provides employers and employees with a basic understanding of workplace fall hazards and the workplace safety measures that can eliminate or mitigate those hazards. It also presents an overview of applicable legislated guidelines and industry practices corresponding to those hazards and control measures.

Fall protection equipment
Effective fall protection plans
Fall protection legislation
Emergency response planning

Approximately 90 minutes

Online test:

Testing conducted throughout this online fall protection awareness course is designed to reinforce the information presented. A mark of 80% must be achieved in order to receive a certificate of completion. Participants are able to repeat the course twice if the pass mark is not achieved. Supplemental materials necessary to complete this course can be accessed online.

Upon successful completion of this online course, a certificate of completion will be available for download and printing.

For something I was dreading spending money on and doing, I actually ended up wanting more of and am looking forward to another opportunity to take more classes with SOS! Learning from Ally has been both enjoyable and inspiring. My classmates and I spent our break time discussing the material we learned and also how impressed we were with the content and delivery.
