What You’ll Learn
Safe practices and how to prevent disease transmission
First aid for breathing and circulatory emergencies, including choking and cardiac arrest
Anaphylaxis and EpiPen use
Wound care and treatment for burns and environmental emergencies
CPR Level C: infants, children, adults, and two-person techniques
Proper use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
How to respond to head, neck, and spinal injuries, plus other sudden medical conditions
Training & Certification
This blended first aid and CPR course combines online learning with one day of in-class, hands-on practice. As a Canadian Red Cross training partner, SOS First Aid ensures every instructor is fully certified and able to adapt to the needs of your group. The program meets all WSIB workplace first aid certification standards for workplaces with six or more employees and aligns with CSA standards. Upon completion, you’ll earn a 3-year Brampton Standard First Aid, CPR C and AED certificate recognized by employers across Ontario.
