Course Information

This fall protection general course covers the basics of fall arrest, fall clearance, travel restraint, and work positioning to create a safe work environment. Ultimately the course is designed to provide the knowledge to minimize fall hazards and protect against serious injury, while working at heights or on the ground. Topics including fall protection definitions, components, fall calculations, equipment maintenance, and rescue planning are also covered in the course.

Duration Time: Approximately 3 hours

Passing Grade: Testing is conducted to evaluate the knowledge acquired in this online course. Students are provided three opportunities to achieve a passing grade of 80% or greater.
