Standard First Aid with CPR C and AED – Toronto

Toronto Standard First Aid with CPR C and AED Course

In Canada’s largest city, emergencies can happen anywhere—on public transit, in workplaces, or at home. Our Toronto Standard First Aid with CPR C and AED course equips you with the skills to respond confidently and effectively when seconds count. In a fast-paced urban environment like Toronto, trained bystanders are often the first to act before paramedics arrive.

Whether it’s performing CPR on a colleague, helping a choking passenger, or stabilizing someone after an accident, your actions can make a critical difference. First aid training gives you the confidence to stay calm, assess the situation, and provide real help when it matters most. Conveniently accessible by TTC, this WSIB-approved blended program is ideal for individuals and workplaces alike.

What You’ll Learn

  • Core first aid principles: Check, Call, Care and working with EMS
  • Responding to breathing and circulation emergencies, choking, burns, and wounds
  • Recognizing and managing sudden medical conditions and environmental emergencies
  • CPR Level C for all ages, including two-person CPR
  • AED use and infection control measures
  • Stabilizing spinal injuries and placing victims in the recovery position

Training & Certification

This course blends independent online learning with a one day of immersive, scenario-based classroom training. Under the guidance of Canadian Red Cross–certified instructors, participants practice CPR on adult, child, and infant manikins, perform choking interventions for both conscious and unconscious victims, and apply bandaging techniques for wounds and head injuries. Learners are evaluated through demonstrations and hands-on scenarios to ensure they can apply their knowledge in real situations.

The program meets WSIB workplace certification standards and aligns with CSA standards, ensuring your certification is valid province-wide. Upon completion, participants receive a 3-year Toronto Standard First Aid, CPR C and AED certificate, with one re-certification permitted before expiry.
