Oakville Standard First Aid with Basic Life Support (BLS) & AED Training
HCP Basic Life Support Training
Oakville is home to a highly active healthcare and professional services community, supported by hospitals, outpatient clinics, long-term care residences, corporate health teams, and emergency services that serve both residents and surrounding regions. As a result, in these settings, certification must support complex decision-making, coordinated response, and evolving workplace standards. Accordingly, the Oakville Standard First Aid with Basic Life Support (formerly HCP) and AED course is built for healthcare providers and first responders who require dependable certification and practical, hands-on readiness.
Designed specifically to reflect the realities of modern emergency response, this training brings together Standard First Aid, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) instruction aligned with current Canadian Red Cross standards. In practice, through instructor-led teaching, realistic simulations, and guided skill practice, participants strengthen their ability to recognize emergencies, deliver care efficiently, and work as part of a coordinated response team under pressure.
