CPR BLS (Formerly HCP) and AED – Mississauga

Mississauga BLS for Healthcare Providers Certification Training (Formerly HCP)

Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR and AED Program

Healthcare providers and patient care responders require training that reflects current standards while supporting their day-to-day responsibilities. The Mississauga BLS for Healthcare Providers Certification Training program is designed for individuals who need current Basic Life Support certification to work effectively in pre-hospital and in-facility care environments.

The Canadian Red Cross has replaced the former Healthcare Provider (HCP) level of CPR with the Basic Life Support (BLS) program. Individuals who previously required CPR-HCP certification now require CPR-BLS certification. The Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR and AED Program incorporates current evidence-based guidelines and meets industry standards and legislative requirements.

This certification program covers CPR and choking management techniques for adults, children, and infants using BLS-level protocols. Participants also complete Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training and certification, helping them develop the practical skills required for patient care and emergency response situations.

SOS First Aid delivers the Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR and AED Program as a Canadian Red Cross Training Partner through certified Red Cross instructors. Training is designed to support healthcare providers who require recognized certification while building confidence in emergency response and team-based care environments.

Training is available for participants in Mississauga and surrounding communities. Organizations and healthcare teams can also arrange group training opportunities, providing a convenient option for certifying multiple participants together.

Upon Successful Completion, Participants Will Receive:

  • Canadian Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) & AED Certification (valid for 1 year)

Price: $70.00 (plus HST)
