Course Information
This online defensive driving course is approved by the Alberta Government and upon successful completion, a 3-demerit points reduction will be granted from an Alberta operator’s licence. This program is very interactive, provides a comprehensive defensive driving program and teaches the trademarked SAFER System of Defensive Driving standards.
Non-Alberta residents can also register for the program; however, they are not eligible to receive the 3-demerit point reduction. All participants will receive an online course completion certificate.
For Alberta residents, once you successfully complete the course, register your information online to receive a reduction in demerits at Service Alberta. A government completion form will be sent to you within 7 business days. Bring your notice-of-completion form with your online Defensive Driving course completion certificate to a local registry office. Once every 2 years, all Alberta residents are eligible for a 3-demerit reduction.
Alberta residents are eligible for a 3-demerit reduction once every 2 years.

Certificate: Upon successful completion, a certificate of completion will be available for download and printing. You can access your certificate through your online account.
