BLENDED Standard First Aid with CPR C/AED (Burlington) - MUST COMPLETE ONLINE MODULES BEFORE CLASS

This Blended Standard First Aid and CPR C certification requires that 50% be completed online and 50% in the classroom. Students will receive an email from the Canadian Red Cross with a link to the online modules within 24 business hours from the time of registration. The online modules MUST be completed prior to the in-class session. You will not be permitted to the in-class session if your online modules are not complete and you there will be no refund. Please contact us if you do not receive an email from the Red Cross with a link to the online modules.
Comprehensive First Aid & CPR techniques for those who want more in-depth knowledge to respond to emergencies. The course covers a variety of topics from basic, such as cardiovascular and breathing emergencies, to in-depth topics, such as sudden medical conditions and injuries to the head and spine.

- 13 to 16 hour in total between online and in-class sessions
- 3 year certification in Standard First Aid & CPR/AED (or as legislation dictates)

CPR A, B, C with AED
This course is designed to provide various levels of CPR training based on the participant’s background, needs and interest. A presentation on how to use an Automated External Defibrillator, AED, is an optional addition to CPR training.

Course content
Level A
Covers skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking for people aged 8 and over, intended for workplace and general public.
- Adult CPR – one rescuer
- Adult choking
- Barrier device/pocket masks
- Optional AED certification may be included where legislation permits.
Level B
Covers skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking in Adults, Children and Babies; intended for families, parents, general public, and child care professionals.
- Adult/Child/Baby CPR – one rescuer
- Adult/Child Baby choking
- Barrier device/ pocket masks
- Optional AED certification may be included where legislation permits.
Level C
Covers all CPR Level B skills and includes two-rescuer Adult/Child CPR; intended for professional rescuers (i.e. Police, Firefighters, First Responders, Workplace First Aid Teams, and Lifegurards).
- Adult/Child/Baby CPR – one rescuer
- Adult/Child/Baby choking
- Barrier device/ pocket masks
- Optional AED certification may be included where legislation permits.
- Adult/Child – 2-person rescuer CPR
