The course is for existing Red Cross EMR or FR instructors who wish to recertify.  To be eligible for recertification, you must have a valid EMR or FR instructor certification and have taught a minimum of three courses in the previous three year period, one of which is at the EMR  or FR level.

The BLS course delivered by instructor Prakash was informative, hands-on and professional. He explained the concepts like CPR, AED, and choking interventions with clarity and precision, and the example real-world scenarios demonstrated were really helpful to understand the importance of each step to be followed. The instructor created a comfortable learning environment, encouraged questions and gave constructive feedback during skill assessments. The materials were well organized and the use of mannequins, AED machines, and videos helped reinforce my practical skills. I am very confident to work in a medical setting with the knowledge and practical experience that I have gained from this course. Thank you, Mr. Prakash and SOS safety on site for providing this course.

I recently took the Emergency First Aid course and was fortunate enough to have Tracy as our instructor. Tracy was incredibly informative and engaging throughout the entire course. She went above and beyond by using real-life scenarios to explain key concepts, which made everything much easier to understand. Her use of metaphors and relatable examples helped bring the material to life and made it feel practical and applicable to real-world situations.
