SOS First Aid, award-winning Red Cross Training Partner, is expanding and opening a new safety training facility at 800 Queenston Rd in Stoney Creek, Ontario. The facility will provide first aid and CPR training courses to people living in Hamilton and surrounding areas, including St. Catharines and Niagara. SOS First Aid will be offering a range of courses from Red Cross Instructor Development to Standard First Aid, all levels of CPR and children’s safety courses. Recently renovated, the training centre will hold it’s first public class on January 13 and 14, 2018.
“We are thrilled to teach simple lifesaving skills to people in the community”, says Velma Ganassini, SOS First Aid founder. “SOS First Aid is not new to the Hamilton area, but since demand for our services has increased so much, we decided to open a permanent facility to better service the community.”
The training centre is conveniently located in at the corner of Queenston and Centennial Parkway, across from the bus terminal at Eastgate Mall. It is in a medical building near highways and public transportation. SOS First Aid will be offering frequent courses to the general public at the new location. Our First Aid and CPR training professionals can also come to your location with our engaging, comprehensive training programs.
The wide range of SOS first aid, CPR and safety courses meet every need. These skills are essential for those looking to become babysitters as well as for employees, first responders, instructors and training partners. Each course is delivered in easy-to-follow steps with practical hands-on components and a variety of training materials.
SOS First Aid offers a full complement of first aid and CPR training to help workplaces comply with federal and provincial/territorial occupational health and safety legislation, and legislation under the Day Care Nurseries Act. SOS First Aid also offers Corporate First Aid training and health and safety products to Canadian Red Cross Major Account Solutions (MAS) clients. The Queenston facility is conveniently located near many MAS clients and businesses requiring training to comply with Workers Safety Insurance Board.

Upon program completion, participants receive their WSIB-approved certificates and will be prepared for almost any emergency in the workplace, at home or in the community.
