Modules Details

Duration Time: Approximately 2 hours

Passing Grade: Testing is conducted to evaluate the knowledge acquired in this online course. Students are provided three opportunities to achieve a passing grade of 80% or greater.

Certificate: Upon successful completion, a certificate of completion will be available for download and printing. You can access your certificate through your online account.

• Differences between confined and restricted spaces
• The classification systems for confined space entry and rescue
• What are common confined and restricted space hazards
• The procedures for the assessment, testing, control, and elimination of hazards
• Confined space entry personal protective equipment requirements
• The required permits, logs, communication systems and emergency response plans
• Responsibilities of the employer, worker, and monitor (tending worker)

The online training course is for supervisors and workers involved in working in confined or restricted spaces.  The course is intended to help you gain the basic knowledge and ability to identify, classify and monitor hazards entering and working in both confined and restricted spaces.

This course is compatible with computers that allows the online course to play on most internet capable devices with standard web browsing capabilities.
