How to understand fall hazards and protect yourself on the job, whether you are a worker or supervisor?
If you are interested in fall awareness/protection training for Alberta (Canada), we also offer Fall Protection Alberta Edition training. This Alberta Edition course covers the importance of Fall Protection, Fall Protection Systems, Fall Protection System Components, Fall Protection Calculations and Fall Protection Planning and Procedures. On completion of this online awareness training, you should be able to fully inspect Life Safety ropes, Fall arresters, Horizontal lifelines, Energy absorbers, Lanyards and Self retracting devices.
General Fall Protection Course
This online fall protection training program will help to build competency when exposed to fall awareness, fall hazards, fall clearance, travel restraint, and work positioning. This knowledge can help to create a safe work environment and avoid deaths on the job site. Ultimately the awareness training is designed to provide the safety related knowledge to minimize fall hazards and protect employees against serious injury, while working at heights or on the ground. The program topics including fall protection definitions, components, fall calculations, equipment maintenance, and rescue planning are also covered in the course.
