We have training facilities in Brampton, Mississauga, Burlington, Hamilton and Oakville, Ontario.
We just opened a new location in Oakville!
Our team is excited to announce the opening of our brand new Oakville location! The address is 700 Dorval Drive, Unit 115. Oakville, Ontario, L6K 3V3. We’re elated to be expanding throughout Southern Ontario in an effort to bring safety awareness and offer training courses to as many people as possible. Our new Oakville training centre is incredibly easy to find and will be a lot of fun to visit!
The facility faces Dorval Drive, making it super convenient to locate and access whether you drive or take public transit. There are numerous bus routes in Oakville that will allow you to get to our new centre with ease. Drivers will be happy to know that there is plenty of FREE parking located in front of our ground floor unit. As well, our building includes a café which is a great place to grab lunch before or after a training session!
Our new location is one of three medical buildings on the property.
Nestled in the middle of the three buildings, 700 Dorval Drive is a fantastic location for Oakville and surrounding area residents who are seeking first aid and CPR training courses. As we have championed for the past two decades, teaching lifesaving skills is of paramount importance to us all. At our new location, we will continue our mission to offer a wide variety of First Aid Instructor Courses. Among many others, they include a First Aid Instructor Recertification Course and a Red Cross Psychological First Aid Instructor Course.
Of course, we will also continue to offer a number of First Aid/CPR Training courses including Children’s Safety Training. SOS First Aid’s sister company, SOS 4 Kids offers a variety of safety training courses for children and youth aged 7 through 14. After completing our programs, participants receive WSIB-approved certificates. The best part is that they are prepared for nearly any emergency no matter where it takes place.
The importance of learning first aid cannot be stressed enough.
We certainly can’t always be expected to prevent medical emergencies from happening. That’s why being prepared for one can literally mean the difference between life and death. First aid training gives you the tools to prevent an emergency situation from worsening. Basic care can stabilize a patient until professional medical service providers arrive on the scene.
“First aid training provides more than the knowledge and skills to effectively respond – it also provides the confidence to act when needed,” states the Canadian Red Cross, “Red Cross First Aid offers a wide variety of first aid and CPR training courses, preparing Canadians to act on, prevent, and respond to life’s emergencies.”
