Looking for Standard First Aid with CPR BLS – Combine this course with a blended Standard First Aid.

 

Canadian Red Cross has replaced the Healthcare Provider (HCP) level of CPR with the new Basic Life Support (BLS) curriculum. Responders who previously required CPR HCP will now require CPR BLS. The new BLS program incorporates the latest evidence-based science and research and meets current industry standards and legislative requirements.

Level HCP (Healthcare Provider) or BLS (Basic Life Support)

Covers all CPR Level C skills and includes two-rescuer Adult/Child/Baby CPR and use of a Bag-Valve-Mask; intended for healthcare providers (i.e. Physicians, nurses, paramedics and Allied Healthcare Providers – RT, OT, PT).

The BLS course delivered by instructor Prakash was informative, hands-on and professional. He explained the concepts like CPR, AED, and choking interventions with clarity and precision, and the example real-world scenarios demonstrated were really helpful to understand the importance of each step to be followed. The instructor created a comfortable learning environment, encouraged questions and gave constructive feedback during skill assessments. The materials were well organized and the use of mannequins, AED machines, and videos helped reinforce my practical skills. I am very confident to work in a medical setting with the knowledge and practical experience that I have gained from this course.
